The West Grove Fire Company was dispatched Sunday morning at 9:11 for a reported house explosion and fire along Route 10 in Upper Oxford Township. Initial reports had heavy fire with reports of injured subjects.

West Grove first responders helped rescue some ducklings from a storm drain in Penn Township today.
A call to the 911 Center requested assistance from a game warden. The 911 Center called the fire house in West Grove and a crew went out to Federal Way around 3:15 pm. Firefighters removed the grates and climbed into the storm drain boxes, working side by side with some community members.
